personally i like the look of longswords its the sword that seems the most realistic as it is actually was used IRL. If anetmade it so different swords have different reach then the longswords would own every other sword.

always thought fellblades seemed more suited for the final fantasy universe.
Flamberges are my favorite. |

Candy cane swords are awesome, but a tiny female monk wielding a fellblade is spectacular.

The best sword in the game, is that sword with the higherst mods.
That can be a sword like a gladius or a crystalline (or others ofcourse). Only de value is different. So a gladius can make the same damage like a crystal. I'am using at this moment a sword with always 15% -5 energy. One of the best mods (iam wearing gladiators armor +7 energy) |

IDS THE BEST !!!!! I realy love my IDS with perfect swordsmanship upgrade, proved to be the best for fighting, and it's very cute by the way. Now I'm eger to make another one for running with +30HP pomel. Why IDS is the best, cause there is no good sword hilt in game: sundering simply don't work, some people know it, and u can add a pomell of your taste to it so it can be everything and it's the most beautifull sword in game!

Best Sword attributes? well thats like the question 'Best Profession' It simply doesnt exist. As for the person who seems to think there opinion is fact, well...
With my R/W i am in a stance 100% of the time, thanks to tigers fury. There is no point me spending oh so much more cash getting a 15%^50% weapon. Likewise, my W/Mo smiting build would be no good with a sundering hilt rather than his usual zealous. What sword attributes are best really depends on what skills your using. For the Record 13%-15% do exactly the same damage. There is a post on it somewhere, but i cant find it. Because GW rounds up,on average 13%^50% and 15%^50% do the same dmg when all said and done, and a fraction of the cost. As for sword skins, that is just a matter of opinion. There is little point telling you want my favorite skin is, your may be different. Fellblade skin is nice, but its kind of like FDS swords in the early stages, they are just craved by every single n00b out there. Flamberge are the nicest skin imho. They are nicely shaped, not as popular as the Fellblade, but still have that great black sheen on the blade which looks so cool. If you have the money then the best sword skin in the game is Victo's Blade skin. Its jet black and is a exact copy of a beta sword design. If you can find a gold version of that skin, all the way back from beta, then your really in the money. |
