ID any purple armor that drops for you. These hold Major runes that are worth more in the armor to a merchant than the actual rune is worth to the Rune Trader. You'll have to check pricing on blue and gold armors. Depending on the rune, you might make more by expert salvaging the rune and selling to the Rune Trader.

If you're playing Prophecies, the mergoyles outside Gates of Kryta are really easy to farm.
Also, farm some really low level area where a lot of the drops are armor that you can salvage. E.g., charr or grawl if you've playing in Prophecies. That way you get your materials directly. Also, if you slaughter lots of low level enemies, you might get the occasional dye drop. One black dye would solve most of your money problems. The gargoyles outside Nolani Academy are good for that in Prophecies. |

Run people through the second Factions mission. Run people through Captured Son/Unwelcomed Guest mission. Once you get good at it you can do the second mission in about 18-19 minutes. It also drops good drops. I found two gold daggers- one which I sold for 4.5 plat (it wasn't max damage, but had a +29 health modifier and some other mods, like longer crippling).

Most of these aren't good plans for an elementalist with AL 15.
