the rare material trader sells stuff for a price that fluxuates with supply/demand
using ectos as an example: the trader sells for 6k the trader buys for 4k therefore, 6k(traders price) - 1k = 5k, about halfway between selling/buying and what most consider a good deal |

Lets say we're dealing with Globs of Ectoplasm.
Now, if a player says -1k trader, that means that the trade value would be 1k less than what the buying price is at the trader. Example: You are purchasing an expensive item, say, 150k. You can fit 100k into a character, and the rest is to be payed with Ectoplasm. The merchant trader is selling Ectoplasm at 6k. That means each Ectoplasm would be worth 5k in the trade with another player. Your total comes to: 100k + 10 Ectoplasm. Simple? I hope so. |
