It would be cool if they added an area like that to a future chapter. It doesn't have to be the catacombs from pre-sear. I would be happy with another implementation of this.

No, just make the Catacoms a new "Elite Mission" area within Tyria, open to all, at a price of 1K entry maybe?

If your not Acended and Level 20, then NPC won't let you enter a new staging area for the catacoms.

Easy.
