Adding Cantha to Proph. - Guild Wars Forums

Can somebosy explain this to me in a bit of detail please. I already have an account with the original guild wars and was wondering how to go about getting factions. Do I need to buy the game from a store with another account code which I won't use, or can I just use somebody else's Factions disk to install on my computer? Please elaborate on this as clearly and in detail as possible. Thanks.

You have to buy an account code. There is a site that I can`t recall the name that LEAGELLY sells the account code. Other than that you`ll have to buy it at the store. Most of Factions has already been streamed to your PC.

Ok I am probably wrong on the code selling thing from PlayNC. But you have to pay for a code one way or the other.

Aye, at the login screen there is a button, link, clickable thingy that says something like "Add a code". You can either create a new account or add a code to your excisting account here. You must add the code to your excisting account in order to have access to Cantha/Factions.

edit: - with your current account.
