Some question about guilds
When guilds want only UAS/UAX people what do they mean?
(I know what UAS stands for; unlock all skills, but when they say that, do they want you to unlock all the skills using your PvP character?) Why do most guilds require a 16+ member only? (Maturity is obvious, but what else?) What happens at the end of the guild season and your guild is one of the top 6? Post more questions later. |

UAX means unlock all skills (like UAS) but also all runes/weapon upgrades etc. No guild will demand perfect UAX though because there are some skills/upgrades you will just never use ^^ (flourish anyone?). It doesn't matter how you unlock them, whether it's through buying/ID-ing/capping with a pve char or unlocking with faction on a PvP char, so long as you've got them available to you in some way.
The 16+ thing is, as you say, maturity but also, A-Net specifiy a minimum age of 16 for anyone going to their tournaments and stuff and if a guild is planning to be successful enough to be part of all that then they can't rely on members who are under 16 and then couldn't come. I dunno about the top 6 but the top 16 at the end of each of these mini-seasons compete in playoffs (you might have seen it on observer mode recently?) and then the winner gets a shiny cape outline and a place in the final-of-finals at some point in some place (i'm a bit hazy here, lol. But that's the general idea). |
