"Coward"
The description on guildwiki says "If target foe is fleeing, that foe is knocked down."
how does that work? what does it consider fleeing? Would it work in PvP? Does the game consider fleeing a movement in opposite direction of the area in which the skill is casted? |

Fleeing is when their back is to you and they're moving.

So if they are running away from a AoE spell then thats fleeing. So I think that skill is good if you have a caster with an AoE skill, or if you somehow cast an AoE akill. W/E with Breath of Fire. |

I was reading that skill just 5 minutes ago lol. thing is it should not be a elite skill. THE thing with it is the fact it says "fleeing". this to me means started to combat the enemy and starts to get butt whooped and runs away. Now what happends if i am just running past someone to get to a monk ? I am not fleeing i am engaging. So i see something very wrong with this skill.

But if they flee, all your attacks against fleeing foes are critical hit (on guildwiki)

Bull's Strike and Bull's Charge {E} used to require "Fleeing" as well. You NEVER EVER saw them in ANY warrior build.
In a buffing update, it was changed to simply "moving" - and Bull's Strike was instantly added to the FoTm Shock Warrior build. Thats Fleeing for you. "Fleeing" is a much more restrictive condition, as noted in a few of the posts here. |

you can walk backwards and you are no longer fleeing, so coward would affect you. just as long as your back isnt to the enemy.

You also saw Bull's Charge sword warriors every now and then, about like you see now - few and far between. Quote:

well, from fort aspenwood mission, the luxon warrior npcs have this skill, and whenever they get close to the elementalist, and start building adrenaline, i usually am with my monk there keeping the ele alive, so i hit the "S" key to walk backwards, and i see the "coward" thing and get knocked down, i then hit the key to heal the npc, moving forward, they shout coward and knock me down.
and when i play with my warrior, i run the amber, and they are usually in front of me, they start shouting coward, and knock me down, even though im running towards them (altough actually they are in the way ) maybe im just unlucky that that skill always works on me or i never realize if im fleeing or what |

If you are a caster with AoE... just use gale... I am sure you have enough attribute for that.
Coward is not that worth it for ele. |

I was curious about this, so I capped it and a guildie and I tested it.
It says "fleeing", but it triggers on any movement at all, like Bull's Strike does now. |
