The base armor and HP of Mursaat bosses
Basically all I want to know is where can I find that out or if anyone knows can they tell me? Because that monk Mursaat boss takes forever to kill.

This should be moved to the Q & A section.
I don't think their armor is different. I think they have absorption bonuses beyond what a war could get. Their very high lvl is also another reason you cannot inflict much dmg. |

Bring interrupts, armor and HP is nothing if his monk skills are healing him.

No absorption, I think. Obsidian Flame, Crystal Wave, and all the other defense-ignoring skills+spells deal full damage.
However, for non-armor ignoring damage, spell damage is reduced on higher level foes, if I recall correctly. On a level 28 foe, you'll apparently deal 65% of your possible damage. If I had to give a rough estimate of their armor, it would be 140 AL. 118 damage lightning orb (attribute 18, max with Glyph of Ele Power) deals a whopping 37 damage to them. 37 on a level 28 foe with a non-armor penetrating spell is about 103 AL. 103/.75 = 137, before Armor Penetration reduction. But, I could be using an outdated source for damage calculations. http://www.rpgstars.com/characters/d...ge-results.php Whatever the case, Mursaat Monks are the absolute worst to handle if your team isn't prepared. Or, more accurately, if YOU aren't prepared, and you're running an all-hench team. 7 henchmen and a human player can't even take out Willa the Unpleasant alone when that human player isn't ready for it. On the other hand, it's a good lesson in the importance of disruption, and the values of armor-ignoring damage. |

Actually, an all henchie team can kill the mursaat monk bosses even if you don't bring interrupts or even any damage at all. It just takes a long, long time. I once when out to explore Ice Flow on my monk and I found the mursaat monk boss out there. I ended up pinning it in a corner so it couldn't get away from Cynn's Fire Storm, set myself auto-attacking (staff shots ftw), then went AFK for fifteen minutes or so. And even after I came back it took about another five minutes to finish the boss off.
Just though I'd share that, heh. |

I remember killing that monk boss in ice floe to cap his elite.Luckily it was before aoe was nerfed so no need for pinning. I was a healer monk making it even harder.

Willia is amusing, armour ignoring damage goes a VERY long way. Once when henching Abaddons Mouth with my Monk i somehow ended up blocking Cairn The Destoyer into a corner while Willia just healed him. After 2 minutes of spamming Balthazaars Aura and Symbol Of Wrath and a few other skills he dropped, even with Willia the powerhealer there. The easiest way to kill a boss if your using real people is to just body block, surround or whatever, then just cast AoE. They start 'fleeing' and end up just not casting for 5-10 seconds instead... I remember a while back i worked it out at around 180 AL... I was basing that on Meteor Shower doing (a truly awesome) 21 damage at lvl16 fire. My maths may have been wrong though. Don't think i took into account the level based reduction... but it would mean that 180AL is the equivilant. |
