Armor bonuses: universal?
So when you craft a piece of armor that says "+10 AL (while enchanted)" does this apply to the whole body or just the specific piece?

Depends on the type of bonus. Damage Absorption is whole body, +10 armor while enchanted is just that location, -20% duration to blindness (assassin vangard body armor) is obviously global.

The only armour bonuses that are global are damage absorption on knights/ascalon, and +15 while casting on mesmer performers. Obviously like dargon said the condition shortening effects are too, since conditions don't hit a certain part of you.

Are you sure that +15 AL while suffering from condition is global? I thought it does +15 AL check only if damage hits to part which the bonus has. There would be no point to have all parts if only one is enough.

He said "casting." Only the absorption and the Mesmers "WHILE CASTING" bonus is global. Which you would have found out had you checked the sticky for commonly asked questions. Closed.
