Extra character slots - Guild Wars Forums

Has Anet ever to anybodies knowledge concidered adding extra characters slots,for a price i presume,to the six already assigned if you have both GW and Factions?
To be honest i'd like a character in all professions but dont fancy havin to buy extras copies of the game.

On the 20th of April Anet said on their website:
"We are happy to announce that you will be able purchase additional character slots for your Guild Wars account beginning this summer for $9.99 U.S. (or equivalent). Each new slot will enable you to add a new character to your account with full access to all of the content your current characters enjoy."

So it has been put on the table, now lets just hope they go through with it.
