Question about drok running
I tried using sprint, rush, holy veil, balanced stance, healing breeze, charge, healing signet, and purge conditions in droks run, but everytime I get doubled teamed either by deep freeze and sand worm combo, then decide to run to part with those avicara, and sand worms still on me and got to face them, then either I die there, or I face avaicara and ice siege golems, and cant handle being doubled teamed, with that guile rejecting me and deep freeze and avacria fierce hitting me, then those tree dudes use that trap and get owned every time. I try to stop for breaks and not take double team, but can never tell where sand worms are, ice imps take forever to move there butt and spread out enough so you can go anywhere, avacara not really big, cept I get rejected a couple, but I always get to that middle point, between avacara and ice siege golems and cant find a stop to rest and always die. Is there some secret? If I could get those worms to f--- off, it could be lil easier, because sometimes they keep following me even when I use balance and charge. If only I could zone into next zone I would be fine, but when I look at it, I see way too many grawl in area, and no place to stop after you get past ice siege golems, and avacaria to heal up. I use holy veil before I go through ice imps and siege golems, use it after I get next deep freeze, and right away for siege golem slow moving hex.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or is this run really challenging? I read quite abit, but nobody seems to cover these issues well. |

heres the build i use for droks running solo and i make it every time.
Sprint Charge Healing Breeze Purge Conditions Smite Hex Healing Signet Balanced Stance Shields up before going through the cave put on healing breeze and keep it on. Then at dreadnaughts drift, have the people your running go first then you should be able to make it |

I use the same build as Riken, and Dreadnought's is a BITCH to run through, especially if your not running anybody, but uncovering :/
But other than that I think i've died once or twice with that same build. |

It takes skill, luck of the spawns, no lag, too much can go wrong on it basically. Dr Strangelove: interesting using Fertile Season, don't you run out of its range very quickly? And why Nature's Renewal? To hurt people putting hexes on you? In my experience the monsters have very high energy that's hard to stop them casting with edenial Last edited by Carth`; Jul 13, 2006 at 07:53 PM // 19:53.. |

This guide is a little out of date, but its still pretty good i belive.. Also, pretty much dosent matter what build you use, i made it to droks with Only 3 skills: Balanced Stance, Charge!, Healing signet.. And i could maybe have done it without the healing signet.... Good luck with it.. Also, i belive that Strangelove use Natures renewall becouse hexes that 2x time to cast while effected by it, if i remember the stats of it right.. ~Shadow |
