combos
hi
ive noticed that its very hard to find a combination of classes that benifit each other the way i want them to im thinking im missing something, so heres my question does a spell that summones and weapon to deal elemental damage get benefited by the weapon stat and the elemental stat? thats confusing so ill give an example does the assassin skill dancing daggers get a benefit from earth magic and daggers mastery on top of its base stat shadow arts, because it deals earth damage and shoots out daggers? like wise for stone daggers: does it recieve a benefit from earth magic and dagger mastery too? it would be a great combo if it did please send an answer |

Skills are only influenced by the stated Attribute they fall under.
Earth magic would NOT help dancing daggers just because its earth dmg, likewise with Stone Daggers... Secondary's are not there to improve your primary skills like you assumed, they exist so you have more attributes to pick from with picking your skills. That said, there aren't really two classes that are "made for each other", any combo works. There are ones that are more popular than others though. |

Warrior + Monk works pretty nicely. You deal damage, take barely any damage, and can heal yourself if you need the healing. However, you will most likely be deemed a "noob" or a "Wammo" by most.
If you really want to get more into it, try a Rt/N maybe. The Rt gives more health to minions, and there's a skill that deals damage whenever you create something. Minions + more health + doing damage when created. I'm not sure if Boon of Creation works with minions. |

Generally, I find that if you keep the number of attributes that you really use down to a total of 3 different ones, it greatly increases the abbility of your character. You could use 4, and MAYBE 5, but I seriously wouldn't go higher than that. The idea there is just to focus your skills into only what you actually need to make you stronger on the whole.
As for Rangers, pick a role (trapper, barrager, interruptor, beast master, etc.) and then skill accordingly. Also, check the Ranger sub-forum here. Plenty of good builds there. |
