FoW? UW? Sorrow's furnace? HoH???
Well I just beat Hell's Precipice, and I was dissapointed to find myself back in crummy old Droks... I thought maybe I would be brought to some new area I haven't been to yet, but alas no.
So I'm wondering, how does one get to these places? Do I just have to pay a runnner or something? Doesn't the game lead you there in some way? Seems very stupid that they would just be there for people to stumble upon... |

FoW and UW can be accessed from the statues at the temple of ages (an outpost out of the way of the story) sorrow furnace is another out of the way area, reachable from deldrimor warcamp, another small outpost out of the way. HoH can be said as two fold. the old hall of heroes, called tomb of the primeval kings , wich is now pve, can be found just outside of dragons lair, how did you miss this one? the other one is HA (heroes ascent) where you do pvp to earn fame. |

There are a lot of towns that you will never get to if you just follow the main storyline and mission sequence. The Southern Shiverpeaks region is quite large. Of the eleven towns in the Southern Shiverpeaks, the storyline lead you to only four. There are others in Kryta, Maguuma, Northern Shiverpeaks, etc. too.
AW Lore explained this, but I can elaborate if needed. Fissure of Woe and the Underworld are special high-level areas, accessible from the Temple of Ages in Kryta. To enter, the region you're in has to have 'favor', then you kneel at the appropriate statue and pay an entry fee of one platinum. They're special areas, with repeatable quests and better than average drops, for ascended characters only. Sorrow's Furnace is accessible from Grenth's Footprint, an explorable area in the Southern Shiverpeaks. (Check here for an old map: Deldrimor War Camp is the closest town, and it is south-west of the Granite Citadel and north-east of Camp Rankor.) HoH is the Hall of Heroes'. It is PvP, not PvE. You have to win in Heroes' Ascent to get there, which is located on the Battle Isles. You don't have to pay for a runner, though it is possible for SF. And there are quite a few hidden things out there to find. Exploring is fun. |

FoW + UW: Get to them from Temple of the Ages / Zin Ku Corridor. Pay the avatar of the respective god one platinum when your country/region has Favor of the Gods.
Sorrow's Furnace is in the middle of the Shiverpeak Mountains. Closest place is Deldrimor War Camp. There are bosses that drop Unique (AKA Green) items in there. HoH (Hall of Heroes): You get there by beating maps in Heroes' Ascent. It is random when you arrive at the Hall of Heroes, but it is more likely you will get there after a few matches than just 1 match. Celestial Sigils (used to get a guild hall) drop from the Victor's Chest there. |

Temple of Ages is in Kryta, between Sanctum Cay and Lion's Arch. (uw and fow are here, as above posters have said).
Sorrows Furnace's location has been explained by the rest. There is also the Tomb of Primevil Kings (spelling is wrong), you can get there if you map to Dragons Lair and go north trough the exit. You can talk to the vission of Glint to get the Titan quests. |

So Glint is " stupid " because you don't know how to get the Titan quests? Maybe it's not Glint that's " stupid " at all! How do you even know about the Titan quests if you don't know how to get them? There's nothing in the game that refers to them. I only found out about them by noticeing a Dragons head where there didn't used to be one. |
