If my guild allies itself with Kurzick, can the people in the guild still participate in things on the Luxon side? Or once we ally, we can only do Kurzick from here on out?

Individuals can do anything they like regardless of the affiliation their guild has chosen.

You can still explore all of the Luxon areas, complete the missions, etc. In order to interact with the NPCs of a specific region, you will need to have more current faction with that alliance than the other.

IE, luxon merchants will talk to you if you have 1 luxon faction and 0 kurzick, but kurzick merchants will not. Same thing in reverse applies.
