Ethernal Forgemaster Quest - HOW LONG??
I'd like to know approximately, how long does it take from the moment you enter FOW to the moment you can craft obsidian armor from the ethernal forgemaster.
I checked the wiki, and it seems that it should be pretty damn time consuming. There is 4 quests that each seem to be pretty long and hard judging from the descrip. How long did it take YOU do get to the forgemaster and get your armor? |

It takes around 2 hours, depending on your party. Many groups get hung up and even wipe against the skeleton army, however any halfway decent group should be able to breeze through the shadows and defending the forge. Spiders, again, are tedious, but don't deal significant damage and should be easy to roll if you've gotten that far.

I think FoW armor is seriously fugly, but you can be crafting in in 45 minutes. Wih a competant group of course. Or you pay for the service. Prices range from 100K to 250K, depending on the group.

45 minutes is very short. Some groups (check Services forum) say they can get you there in an hour, but they require a large payment. It generally takes me 90 minutes or so with PUGs for a Forgemaster run, though it depends on the group. Quickest I've done it was around 75 minutes, longest was over two hours.

When I got mine, it took about 2 hours. But that was with a couple of people who very rarely venture into the FoW, so we took our time and did quite a bit of goofing off along the way.

These times seem quite long.. I have done many many FOW runs with my Ranger in barrage/pet teams and on several of these people have crafted amour. I am pretty sure that if you got in a B/P team, that you could be crafting armour in around an hour. It depends on whether you go straight for the Forgemaster, or if you take any of the other quests first.
However, if you then just left, there would be a lot of rather annoyed Rangers! |

The fastest I've done it in was approx 1 hour and 15 minutes. With a competent team however, it can be done in less. Without any broken aggro or other incidents, I'd say 1 hour is possible. For a competent team.

It took about 1h30 to 3man it (going around to do rastigan quest), so I'd expect a co-ordinated team (not a PUG) that went straight for the forge could take an hour or so. Lots of teams run it for payment, generally the smaller the team the lower they can set a price...
