Yesterday I noticed a large download of more than 75mb. This was one of those downloads that runs in the background like when we were getting the maps for the factions preview weekend. This was not my first time to log on this weekend and was wondering why the large download since we didn't get any new maps. I already downloaded the updates from last week so I know it was not those. Any clues?

They are streaming Nightfall into our computers little by little.

Same thing happened for about a month with Factions..

For the record, new maps were added along with the 200megs of basic preloading. Youll find 2 new NightFall PvP maps in the RA. Youll get another 500+megs worth of data over the next 2 months leading to the November release. If you have a 56k wait till the preview event starts and get the dat file copied from a friend. Unfortuantly at present there is no way to disable the data which doesnt effect your machine despite the massive cost it adds to ArenaNets data bill.
