i have never farmed greens but i have just started to farm vermin (including shreder sharptongue) i have farmed them at least 30 times but i have still not got his lame green, i dont want it but i was just wondering if it is the same with all greens, how often do they drop from bosses, how many times do you have to kill them??

It's all to do with luck not how many times you kill it!

Only factions boss i've farmed is SSkai Dragon Birth for his sword. Only time he seemed to drop it was when he was weilding it. It was easy enough to see because his blade was either big and black or a small silver one. If he had the small silver one i just let him live and rezoned until he had his black one. If the anti farming code kicked in i just went and farmed another area for a while.

The weilding the weapon situation may be the same with all the other bosses, but i'm not so sure... Also if your just killing then rezoning chances are it won't drop as the anti farming code will kick in.

Unfortunately, all drops from common gp to green items (that only drop from certain bosses) is random. You never know when or what or even if they'll drop. I have done some farming runs over 100 times and never seen specific greens.

Take the Tomb of the Primevil Kings (prophecies) for example. I have done that run probably close to 200 times now and not once have I seen Victos Axe or Bulwark drop for anyone in my party.

It's all just the luck of the draw.

It is a common thought that having henchmen in your party decreases the likelyhood that you'll see green drops though.

Just a side note though: change your farming areas frequently. Beware the anti-farming code...

If you solo the chance it drops for you will increase but it is not guaranteed. Remember henchies takes their share of the drops.

Green drops are really random and down to luck. Here are some of my experiences:

Geoffer's Bulwark - 8 kills and nothing, then a guildie turned up and we went to duo him. 2 dropped in the following 3 kills.

Sunreach's Shield - soloing and duo-ing took too long, so took some henchies to speed things up (i.e. to get more runs in). 2 dropped in about 14 kills.

Chkkr's Pincers - 2 dropped in 8 kills, duo-ing with guildie.

Everthorn's Chakrams - 3 dropped in 10 kills, duo-ing with guildie.

Shreader's Talons - 2 dropped in 5 kills, solo-ing.

Ghial's Staff - the best for me so far. I've gotten 5 of these solo-ing, each time in less than 5 kills. I kept one for my MM, gave one away to a guildie and sold the other 3.

i farm Tomb of the Primevil Kings (prophecies),ORO (prophecies)
and have to say i must have done over 200 runs on each and have seen victos axe and bulwark drop few times to me/party,it is all about luck and maybe the build you use.

seems they always drop wen im useing a diff build and not expecting them to drop.
also seems my casters tend to get my worr drops and vice virsa
if you farm the same place alot then its unlucky for you.
never take hench partys.
and the lower the party members the better.

I only know about factions greens, since i used golds in prophecies, but some good places to farm greens are outside Gyala hatchery, to the right of the res shrine, keep going then take the right fork, and you can farm the Woe Spreader. From there i normally head to Zos Shivros to farm sskais sword. I just alternate those two till i get what i want. The Woe Spreader isnt farmed enough to make the anti farming code kick in most of the time.
