I'd be willing to bet that that shield drops in the elite missions. Sadly, GuildWiki doesn't have that info, and I've never been there myself. But, concidering what it looks like, that's where I'd put my money.

Did Urgoz's Warren a few times and never saw an Iridescent aegis drop.
Actually not even in other section of Cantha. I guess it's just a rare skin for a shield...

diamond, irredessent, and amber.. all are chest drops from raisu palace ... if im not mistaken

You can get amber weapons not only from raisu palace but also from any kurzick chest.

I got one in a chest in the explorable area outside the last Canthan mission - the one where you kill Shiro. ( I'm pretty sure that is called Raisu Palace but am not in game to check.)

It was Gold, less than max (15) armor with a silly mod (protection +1, 18%) so off to the merchant it went. Waste of a key. I hope you have better luck with yours.

I'm unable to answer the OP's question, but I can confirm that they do drop (or did, anyway) earlier than Raisu Palace. My Factions main has just now completed Hatchery, and I found a Gold Iridiescent shield already. Unfortunately, I can't recall exactly where, but I do know it was from a chest. I found it over a week ago, so based on my current rate of progress, I was probably somewhere around the Cavalon area.

My friend found one today, crappy mods + req tho.. But i belive he said he found it from the a Jade Brotherhood.. Not sure about the last part tho, but i belive thats what he said..

i got mine from a chest run in imperial sanctem along with a diamond aegis these are both rare items from those chests!
