ps. i have been on GW for 12 months and still no b-day present..... anyway i can get it or do i have to wait longer

No, it does not count.

Are you sure that you've been on for 12 months on that character? Type in "/age " to find out.

yeah im sure it says 9 months for my char and 12 months as total

There's your problem. Your character needs to be 12 months old himself, not the whole account.
