Boon prot *everywhere* !!!
Lately (for past few weeks) I see a noticable population spike on boon prot monks... Everywhere match I enter in RA seems to consist of atleast 1 boon prot.
I have been in matches IN RA where it lasted more than one hour.... I was in a 2 boon prot, 1 smiter - 1 ranger team i think (I have screen; but not the end time because I pressed print screen a bit late ). While the other have 2 monk and 2 eles... nobody died, nobody did damage, match lasted about one hour and 20 minutes; we won . But, ***IT WAS INSANE**, I logged off straight after, couldn't take it anymore. Right now I'm trying to avoid playing monk in RA. I'm not flaming the build; because I do think it's very effective build and I use it a lot too. However is this build starting to be overplayed? Any insights and other's experience? |

Sure. People believe it's the best/easiest way to earn Gladiator Points. I know those never ending matches.. Just go in with some high damage build, get teamed up with a boon, and earn Glad Points that way. Don't know anything else to suggest.

About time...
Also, there is a boon prot premade now I believe... then again, I am not so sure; my memory of premade templates are not quite around as I don't look at them often enough. |

Boon Prot inspired me to make a monk and Ive stuck with the build since and I know love monks
Boon Prot is a very easy to put together build and so I suppose it appeals to alot of players new to monking. |

Theres no boon-prot mass overload, its just RA's team pairing up is totally retarted.. and it only seems that way.
When playing any type of monk in RA you usally get paired with another monk and when your not playing monk, you get no monk! =] Not saying this is the case most always.. its just what happens to me |

Well there are new templates available. This means - less HP/mending monks and more boonprots. Less crappy paladins and more w/e shockers.
Overall it's good thing. When someone is beginner in pvp how could he know that paladin or "illusion slasher" is a bad build - its template after all. Now all beginners can start with some stable, solid characters. |
