Impossible to Win
I did Into the Wirlpool quest and get to Unwaking Waters. I tried to do the mission but it is some kind of impossible. I tried over 25(about 20 of them with real players) times but I coudn't. I get throught just to the first block then I got die. Nothing is working what should I do, maybe the biggest problem is I am W/Mo very less party is accepting me because I can do anything to kuuvang(do bane signet does double damage to kuuvant) and ofcourse unwaking waters is very very less populated(Kurzick one). If Luxons unwaking water is easier I can get the whole way there.

The Luxon Side is the exact same mission.
Both sides meet at the start. Just keep trying... |

Read this: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Unwakin..._%28Mission%29
I did the Kurzick side when I was only mapping, with no intention of completing the mission, and I got Master's. Just take henches. Don't bother trying to get a group for this one. You can probably do the mission 5 times before you would find a PUG and start the mission. |

those missions with two partys wasnt a good idea, its already hard to have a single 8 ppl party, it will be much worse with chap 3 comin, i can only hope for better AI on my party mates lol |

It's easy to do that mission, all you need is === 2 monks, 2 nukers, 1 tanker, 1mm, 2 nukers or 1 nuker and 1 ss.

I dont get it... people dont want Warriors... but the whole map is filled with afflicted... you need someone to tank and do melee damage... People assume Kuunavang is the most important.. I die because of the afflicted not the Dragon... this mission gave me problems ...

Warriors are good, they tank so the mm can make the minions.

Read the guide noted in the above post. (Bring a bow/ ranged weapon equipped in one of your spots) Take the Henchies or pug but make sure to pick the interrupters ( Mesmers and rangers ). I did it with just henchies for both groups. It was actually easy if you read the guide. Draw the afflicted to you and hide from the dragon as best you can. When you get the afflicted down in numbers attack the dragon. When attacking the dragon spread out do not stay clumped in a group. Bring a reserrection/ healing spells to keep your distance henchies going. You will only use your warrior skills on the final attack on the dragon. (except the afflicted of course)

I have failed at this mission, but everytime I complete it I get masters. Mostly luck of the draw on PuGs. There are a lot of bad players, but if you get enough decent ones you should be able to complete it. Most important: have interupters (at least two) on your team.
PS. Have gotten all seven of my characters through this mission. |

I did this mission with both real people and hench party ~ and managed masters award.
I think the key to this mission is to *kill quick* (try getting 2 nukers); since you're dealing with lots of afflicted, you dont want to prolonged fights. And you will need a restoration rit in your party (shelter, recuperation, etc). Why? becuz of putrid, spores <counter with recuperation>, and shelter will really help against kuunavang. No shelter ~ random target p0wnd EDIT: I forgot to mention, bring an interrupt ranger ~ for kuunavang. |

Well the I've completed it on all 4 chars, and ONLY while 15 henchies were present. Since you're W/Mo just run with a couple of +dmg skills, some damage reduction and you should be fine .
Or you can just read the guide |

I'm using a interupt ranger with all henchman, even for the opposite team.
And I finished it in less than 10 minutes. One important thing is that don't rush, always wait for the Afflicted to come. |

The only class I've had a really hard time getting missions/quests with is my assasin. It's easier with some than others, monks being the easiest, but my warrior came in a close 2nd.

Yeah using an intterupter kinda makes lotsa missions easy as long as you got the right backbone i find using a warrior with a sword is kinda hard to do altho a W/R w/ an axe is easiest for me

As a WaMo you may not be able to do much damage to Kuunavang but you should have a ranged weapon with at least. And make sure when he breaks out the spores to destroy them as this will allow the rest of your party to work on him.
Also missions like this are a good reason why joining a active guild or alliance is nice. I have done this mission twice with complete alliance groups from both sides. |
