Targetting your minions
Well I want to do a minion bomber build, but I'm having trouble tagetting my minions in battle. Holding down ALT doesn't highlight their name like it does most NPC's... So im stuck hovering my mouse over the area waiting for names to show, and then it's easy to mis-click because they are constantly moving around.
Isn't there an easier way to target my minions? |

Unfortuantely no. Welcome to poor interface control for a class.
I think it would be very nice, especially since the minion level is capped at 10, that you could have a health status window for your minions that allowed you to target them. Your allied spirits should also be available if you are using rit spells. |

they should incorporate a key for lets say nearest allied object referring to Ritualist Spirits, Nature Rituals, and Minions, it would make things a lot easier, i believe Anet added a few more hotkeys recently, wouldn't hurt to add one more in my opinion.

don't even bother anymore to bring death nova along since it's near impossible to both find and cast the spell on a certain minion before it dies.
i'll reconsider bringing it IF they bring some new form of selecting them or something. /signed |

or maybe in nightfall there can be a minion skill that already has death nova implanted in it<.<[or a enchantment that for a certain amount of time, all animated creatures made during the enchantment's duration has a minideath nova in it, but when ever you animate/bind the creature, you sac some health[kind of like awaken the blood in a sense]

Just make Death Nova enchant target and all adjacent allies. Then you just have to get close...

I already suggested a way of doing this ages ago which wouldnt interfere too much, just need something along the lines of a small icon similar to when you maintain an enchantment on a player or yourself, placed above the skillbar which is green when the minion health is >50% and turns yellow when it's <50% and flashes red when it's <25% so that you can see which ones can have Death Nova cast on them.
