Energy Regen -1
I want to buy a dagger has +30 health and %15^%50. But 2 of them is zealous (or something like that ) -1 energy regen. Other one is chkaram and looking bad. I dont really use enchantments which -1 degen. The thing I ask is does this energy regens is the regeneration per second or some kind of saying how many -1 regen enchantments can used at one time?

1 "pip" of energy equals 1 enery point per 3 seconds. An assassin has 2 pips of natural energy regen, plus another 2 pips by his armor. So you have an energy regen of +4 pips. Using a -1 energy regen will reduce that to 3 pips, i.e. 3 energy per 3 seconds.

Zealous basically means instead of getting the 4 pips of energy regen, you only get 3 pips. This may seem like a downer, but you get 1 bit of energy everytime you hit something. Assassins hit stuff really fast when they get going, and they gain enegy from critical hits (which they do a lot!).
If the daggers that have the Zealous on are gold daggers, the Zealous can be swapped for another mod. If they are Green Daggers they can't though. Zealous is a wise choice for someone who invests heavily into Dagger Mastery, because making a double hit would give you 2 bits of energy. If you invest heavily into Critical Hits, you can live without Zealous because you gain so much energy from critical hitting. Edit: The amount of pips is how many ">>>>" you have on the enegy bar. Edit #2: Quote:
If you use 5 -1 enchantments, this will cause your energy to hit 0 by degening. (Your energy bar will show 1 pip of DEgen: "<") Once the energy hits 0 I think a -1 enchantment will be removed. Last edited by Obsidian Stealth; Sep 04, 2006 at 03:27 PM // 15:27.. |

Tetris is correct, however you mentioned a Zealous mod on the dagger, keep in mind that though it has a -1 energy regen, when you are in battle you will gain 1 energy for everytime you hit. With the assassins speed of attack you would most likely be gaining more energy that you would with that 1 pip of energy regen

I thought it was good idea to buy a green dagger with 30 health cheap. But I looked to price check dagger upgrades are cheap. I am going to buy a nice looking clear (it doesn't matter if white just I need %15^%50) dagger. And I will mod it by +29(I have major vigor I think +29 would look better than +30 on +41 rune) anddd here the question I dont know which tang to buy I thing it may fiery(fire damage) what is the best choice for a dagger tang.

If your assassins build is heavy on energy which most are zealous daggers with 13 critical hits is the way to go. You get 1 energy upon hit and a chance to get 3 energy on hit making it 4 energy. With the attack speed of assassins i would say you will get the best out of zealous daggers and vamp daggers.

I'd buy a nice dagger from the guru auctions. You find a lot of cheap bargains on there. Such as a purple pair of daggers for 5k, when gold ones the same goes for 30k. |

If you do decide to buy an elemental damage mod (ice, fire etc) you will do more damage against Warriors (bypassing the +AL vs physical like you said). However you will do less damage to Rangers (They have 70AL standard, then +30 VS elemental, then a possible +15 VS specific elemental damage).
I would decide which I face more often and which pose the biggest threat. Personally I think you should go with 1 set of daggers with earth damage (Rangers dont have the chance of +15 VS earth damage). Then, when you get the chance, buy another set exactly the same, except swap the earth damage mod for something like Vampiric. This way for Rangers you can swap to the Vamp daggers, and keep the earth damage daggers for other targets. |

Ebon mod is earth damage, and earth damage is still elemental damage (as is fire, ice, and lightning).
Rangers gain +30 vs elemental damage, warriors do not. So no, you will not bypass the bonus of both, only the warriors. Last edited by Shigernafy; Sep 04, 2006 at 06:32 PM // 18:32.. |
