And what are minimum specs for playing this game cuz im getting a new pc(not as good as the other guy) and i think it has 256mb card.

I can tell you, that even a laptop can run GW.

Any desktop computer, can run guild wars, litteraly.

I completed prophecies with a Geforce 2 mx 440, 64mb card.

To original post, I think Guild Wars is very much worth getting. I recomend investing in all three parts, Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall when it's out. Otherwise with just one or two of them, there may be certain items you want from the one you don't have. And the only way to get them then would be buy or trade with other games. It's also fun to find them from chests and from killing bosses.

You should decide upon start if you want the Survivor titles. It's the one title, as far as I know, that can(and usually does) become lost forever if you break off the title track before getting a title.

Depending on how much you get into Guild Wars, you'll notice things like preview bonus packs, collectors editions, holiday events, and stuff like that. If you're the type who wants to see everything and not miss out, and will be all grumble-grumble if you miss out, it's something to think about. If you're easy going and don't care and just want to play a game, then that's cool. I'm kinda somewhere in between I guess.

But even with that I still recomend Guild Wars. With some control over how much time you spend on it, you'll be set on open-ended fantasy gaming with no end in sight.
