Who cares about dye?
I am a newb and I fail to see what the big deal is about dye.

It allows people to make their armor and weapons look at least a bit different from what the others use by changing the color.

so, it just changes item color? i am finding out that it is good for trading as-well.

black dye is good for trading because it holds their value.
But i personally don't like black dye because it compromises the detail of the armor. I usually make my own unique color or i do silver. |

Yesterday i bought myself a new 15k (druids) for female ranger... i tried couple of dye and mixes on it and they all s*cked. Then i used dye remover on it to get the armor back to default and i liked it a lot (Its looks very different then from when you buy it)
