wand/offhand inferior?
with the new update with the extreme staff upgrades, isnt the wand/ offhand combo now inferior due to the staff getting up to 20 energy and 20/20/20 mods?

Considering you can supposedly mod wands and offhands now, maybe not. I honestly don't know. I generally prefer staves anyway because they take up less space.

No. Wand and off-hand is more flexible. Staffs allow you to have the 20% on spells boost. Wand/off-hand combo allows you to have more configuration including a shield (casters use them in PvP), two attribute line (say Divine Favor + Inspiration), etc. It all depends on the build. I still prefer W/Off-hand. But the 20% staff works better on certain builds. |

i still think it depends on what skill set you are using... someone find me a staff with cold dmg and i'll be happy... so i have to use both if i want to use spinal shivers :/

If the new wand upgrades are any good, I doubt it. Wand + Offhand combos still allow for a little versatility. Like switching between 2 offhands on the fly for when that situation demands it.
