Say if you were in a team of 8 with a mate and you both had 3 heroes each, if you left and the heroes stayed with him would they still level up and get experience? theres one to dwell over

This would take about 3 minutes to test in game. Just take a low level hero (not hard to find) into... say... the Consulate Docks mission, leave, and see what happens. A level 3 Koss against lvl 16 mobs shouldn't take long to get to level 4, if it works.

Of course, it wouldn't level up the Koss on your character because it would be pretty ridiculous to stand in a town with Koss and see him level up because your buddy is also in a mission with him. So, I ASSUME, they behave just like henches and no longer level up when not tied to a player, but I haven't specifically tested this.
