Although this thread is completly pointless, I'll answer.

Yes. The henchies and hero's can complete the game, very well in fact. The new hero setup is excellent, and AI has been improved all around.

A lot of the time I do better with my hero and henchies than I do with real people.

If you're new to the game, your heros may be a bit less effective due to lack of elites or build knowledge. Take a look at some of the builds on Wiki or here, in the specific profession forums.

Heroes are in Nightfall only, I assume you don't have it since you get them right when you start.

As far as hench go; they're smarter than the average PUG

i am exploring the desert while ascending my elemonk with 3 heros , lina, and stephen so that should say something.
