Why is this in the Screen Shots Exposition? Anyway, I would say Monk for the enchantments or just check wiki and see what builds are on there.

There is no best, it depends on your playingstyle, the situation and the your allies' builds.

Geez, I really wish people would stop making retarded threads like this. There is no best. It's like asking what's the best primary profession in guild wars (nerf teh monks!).

The best second profession would have to be the one that kills....

This, and "What do I name my new character?" have got to be my two most favorite threads.

NOT!

With the power of high Mysticism that a Dervish offers, any profession with a lot of good enchantments is really helpful. I like keeping "Reversal of Fortune" - a monk skill on my tool bar because it gives you health on one hand, is a controllable enchantment in terms of being able to end it quickly, is short-lived and is quick to recharge. This makes your energy bounce back quickly something that is really helpful for a dervish with their low base energy. Combined with Pious Strike it keeps your health and energy up while doing serious damage as long as you put a lot of points into Mysticism. Add to that a skill that gives you 100% chance of hitting your target for a period of time is extra effective as Pious Strike recharges instantly with a hit.

It's like saying what's the best music. It depends on personal preference. And now that they've introduced a system where you can change professions really easily, there's a chance to try them all.
Now I don't just change my skill set depending on my mission and team, I change my prof with it. Simple as.

Well, I like my D/Ranger. The dervish brings a number of enchantments already, and many of them inflict conditions when you end the enchantment. I added "apply poison" to skill bar, along with whirling defense for when things get hairy.
So I poison a guy, enchant myself, break that enchantment, cause bleeding, enchant myself, break that, and set nearby baddies aflame for 3-4 seconds.
I also like having the rituals...like winter and so on. And traps...well, imagine the possibilities...cripple and bleed, line them up, and mow them down with the scythe.
I did discover that it limits some things...ranger preps and the like are high energy, so I can really only use one or two in battle; many ranger skills are bow-specific; but overall, I like it a lot.
