Superior ID and Salvage kits
Is there a benifit to using the Supoerior kits over the Expert kits?
I have use a Superior kit for a while now along with the Expert kits and have noticed no difference in what I ID, usually it is a low end ID off of a gold item. I could see the Superior salvage giving you more of a craftable item, but I don't see anything different about the Superior ID kit vs the Expert kit. |

AFAIK, the only difference between the expert salvage/superior salvage and the id/superior id is a cost vs. convenience factor.
They both serve the same one-time use. The superior kits give you 100 uses vs. only 25 uses on the non-superior kits. But the superior kits cost 25% more per use than their non-superior counterparts. I've heard some people say that superior kits will give better IDs and more salvage, but I've never seen *any* evidence to back up such a claim. There is, of course, a serious functional difference between an ordinary salvage kit and the expert salvage/superior salvage kits, but your question reads like you're already well aware of that. Hope it helps. Cheers! Luny |
