Hat Storage? - Guild Wars Forums

okay, so i put all the holiday hats i have onthe hat crafter. Then i thought, isnt this just a waste? Is this hat storage going to stay ingame for ever or be done with after wintersday, and then wouldnt i just end up using more space with getting holiday hats on all of my people? Wouldnt it just be smarter to no have holiday hats an option and put them in the Headgear Option (Show headgear in Outposts, Show Christmas Hat, Show No Headgear...and so on)?
I asked a lot of questions and want a lot of answers :P

The reason this gives you more storage, is because you won't have to hold onto hats, but merely take them out for a measly 10 gold. This is a great feature, as my masks are taking up all my bags and storage. This is a permenant feature. As for your ideas, you should put them in Sardelac Sanitarium. If you used SEARCH you could've found all this information instead of making this thread. Please, use what's there for your use.

this is kinda lame... i do like being able to trasnfer hats across characters ... but I thought a hat storage meant an extra bag made just for hats ...

Sword: you do realize thats pretty much what it is, except it's a bag that you don't hold and it spits out hats good for all the characters on your account, not just the one(s) that got the hats.

The hat npc is a wonderful idea. Now, instead of having to find time to get my main toons (3 of them) in at the right time for an event, I just need to make one of the showings. And, I don't have to worry about storing 20+ hats anymore. Besides, it give my paragon a yule cap to show off for the holidays.

I really like the NPC who can craft hats I show them. Frees up alot of space and I can now don hats for any of my chars at any time. So what if it's not a bag in the literal sense.. instead it's my personal 'hookup' when I want a festive fix.
