Are All Primary Missions Mandatory to Finish Prophecies? - Page 2 - Guild Wars Forums

Sorry, but i don't see it... Maybe I'm too wrapped up in my guild of 70 people in my alliance of 4 very active guilds and an active forum that regularly arranges guild outings and pvp events so i don't see it...

Well, consider yourself fortunate; just don't consider yourself average.

The observation isn't that it is impossible to have social ties within the game.

Compared to related games, the social scene is restrictive and less inviting primarily due to the design/nature of the game.

Obviously, if you already start the game with friends you will have an advantage. Or, if you have a strong guild built up during an earlier time in the game's history...

But, the social fabric of the game world is becoming more and more dispersed...an expanding universe, if you will. I simply think ANet should reverse or slow this trend.

No you don't have to do all of the primary missions the thing I like about Prophecies you can skip them unlike Faction and Night Fall anyway all you need to do is go yto Sanctum Cay and go off and do the 3 Desert mission beat you dopple and ascend.Then go do the Dragon Lairs mission get to Droks and then go to if you walk to Copperhammer mines and then off to IronMines of Muldune then Thunderhead Keep and then the 3 Fire Island missions voila you just beat the game.The Aura Glade mission is some what interesting.It was with my Warrior as I just targeted the bonus and we got it and then went and fought off the remaining White Mantle[spoiler] and then best it after that.
