does the number of henchies or heroes in the group affect the drop rate of rare items during green farming??

Yes, each character with you gets the same chance at getting the drop.

lets say they code it so that every boss will always drop his green everytime he dies. You and 7 hero/hench go out and kill it. You have a 1 in 8 chance of getting the green when he dies, if you take only 4 hero/hench you have a 1 in 5 chance. Now here is the kicker, the green drop code is really about 1 in 20, which means that with a band of 8 you have a 1 in 160 chance of getting the green.

if you watch really close when something dies yopu can see what it drops and if it was assinged to a hero/hench, after about 1/2 a second it disappears, because the game claimed it.

Maybe you intend right by saying there is no difference between heroes or other players, u will have the same droprate, though what Markaedw says is the best description of the situation. Heroes and hench do drop the droprate.

One addition, per boss i find different drop rates for whatever reason.

yes. lets say the drop rate is 10% (actually less but for easy math) or 1/10. each member of the party has an equal chance to get the drop, so each member (be they hero, hench, or human) has a 1/8 chance of getting that drop. so, overall, you have a 1/80 or just over 1% chance of getting the drop in a full party.

but farming alone quite dangerous too.yes thr is guides for solo farming but i not yet get use to the guide given.lol
