Is it possible to make a PVP character and have a different pet than a wolf in alliance battles? I found a cool pet on my N/R in the factions campaign and I dont really want to have to go through the game over again as a ranger to find it and I dont want to pay all the money to get the beast mastery skills for my N/R to because they're 1k gold each.

Nope, all PvP chars have an Elder Wolf and this cannot be changed.

PvP-only characters who equip Charm Animal will always get an Elder Wolf as their pet when entering combat.
