Possible to get run to bone palace - Guild Wars Forums

Not sure this is been posted.

I wanted ranger's ancient armor, but I didn't feel like playing through missions for like the 5th time. I ran my ranger to Gates of Desolation hoping to get a run to Bone Palace. However, I've heard the rumors that Bone Palace's gate will be shut to the people who didn't have the primary quest.
My question is: is this true? Thanks

Yes it is true you will have to do all the missions and quests in order to get there and get a ride on wurm through the sulpher.

we tried and yes they are closed if you have one in your party without the quests being completed

I can't try this ATM but I wonder if someone else could try this:

Group up with someone who has the primary quest to get to the palace active. If you havn't beaten Gates of Desolation yet, when you enter the area, die. Wiki states that the wurm spoors won't work if someone hasn't mastered the junundu UNLESS they have died (check http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Wurm_Spoor if you don't believe me). That way, the person who actually has the quest active can go through as normal, and in theory, the palace should be open for them.

The gates to the Bone Palace will be locked until you do the quests to get there. Just tried it myself.
