How do I run to Droknar's Forge?
Ok, I just bought prophecies after having owned Factions and NF for few weeks.
The character Im trying to play with is not a low level, in fact, he has over million exp, so im guessin it shouldn't be too hard. So I got to LA, and did the first mission...and found out that I don't really like doing the missions (lol). I just wanna get to some farmable areas(items and elite skills) and read on guru that Prophecies is runnable. I am just having hard time finding out how to do this Running. Any step by step guidance would be helpful. I don't plan to run the entire chapter, I just want to get to Droknar's forge first. (w/o doing long missions..I don't fine prophecy missions fun compared to other chapters') I got maxed out heroes too, and im guessin this would help the run. So... how do i get to Droknar's Forge for LA? |

you go out from LA and head due east when you reach Beacons Perch you head south. Do not bother fighting there, as it'll be you, 3 max heroes and whatever lame lvl 9 npc henchmen is there. It's very difficult, particularly the middle zone.
My suggestion, fight your way to Beacons Perch, then pay the usual 3k for a run there. If you are a w/mo you could run yourself, but its a hard run, and since you own nf and fact. running isnt something you'd be used to. |

Meh... It may be hard for Wammos... but there's a slew of 'sin and Dervish builds that can run it faster, with a greater chance of success. The Dervish brings Vow of silence, Fleeting Stability, Mystic Regeneration and a whole bunch of speed buffs to the table; 'sin gets Shadow Form, Feigned Neutrality, shadowsteps and speed buffs.
Warriors are out-dated and outclassed. OP: try http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Category:Running_builds |

As long as you have Prophecies, why not run the missions through the jungle and the desert? Why skip part of the game that you paid for?
An experienced GW player can go through the missions easily. And if you never played the missions before, it shouldn't be boring. You can always do a Beacons to Droknars run later for the challenge. |

Sounds like you're running a farming bot just to sell gold. If I'm wrong and you got the million experience legitimately then I apologize. |

I'd recomend getting to Droks the 5-missions way - run to Sanctum Cay, do that mission, do the 3 desert missions, then do Dragons Lair. Not only will you get to the Southern Shiverpeaks area, but you will also have access to desert, which has some farmable-ish areas, and to the elite skills in the last 4 of the missions mentioned.

In Replying to TheRaven:
First of all, I do not use a farming bot. I've never cheated in my long gaming career and never would. Secondly, it's not that I don't enjoy playing the game, but it gets tiring playing the sotryline after a while (I beat factions and night fall 4-5 tmies w/ different characters) Thirdly, it's not even that hard to get over million exp on a character in a few weeks. I do a lot of solo farming in the UW and i also farm bosses a lot, which yields good exp. Just to let you know, you can even get to high exp just solo farming monsters lvl 20+ like kirins. Plus this certain character did whole lotta quests in factions and NF, so exp from doing quests and killing monsters along the way of beating the 2 campaigns added up to like 500k exp i think. The reason I didn't wanna do missions is because prophecies seem to have longest list of missions and the most walk time. (i was surprised at the first mission when monsters kept coming and coming.. although they were easy kills, took too long for my liking..and figured rest of the mish would be long like that) Im thinking about taking Caelus The Fallen's suggestion of just doing several missions to unlock the areas instead of doing all. Thanks for the replies guys. all i have to figure out now is how to run to Sanctum Cay and 3 desert mish areas. I'll look it up on wiki and let you guys know if i figure it out. |

Give me a holler tonight (~8-10pm pst) @Bjorn Green If you are around and haven't already gotten there
I'll show you the run from LA to Sanctum, stops at ToA and Fisherman's. There're also great maps right here on Guru. Just go to the main page and click 'Maps' |
