i have just created a dervish, and i dont want to level up and up and up 2 find out i cannot go to tyria, when i have created the account i start in nightfall land, is it possible to get to tyria? thanks in advance

If you have Prophecies on the same account, you can travel there once you reach a certian point in the Nightfall story line.

Once you get to the consular docks through the storyline, a quest is available to travel to both Tyria and Cantha (prophesies and factions). If you have either or both, you can do those quests to travel over. Or you can get a ferry over from another player. Then you can start doing the quests/missions there from that point and on. You may be able to travel backwards from lets say Lion's Arch to Ascalon, but you can only do the missions, you can't do quests. Only from Lion's Arch and on can you do quests (though for a dervish, you can only get free skills for your 2nd profession if it's a Core profession). Hope this helps.

Factions, by far, is the easiest campaign to "escape" from and jump to other chapters.

Leaving Prophecies requires an extreme amount of running with the help of others. And leaving Nightfall requires you to progress through a significant amount of the story line.

NF requires only that you do the initial little tutorial and get into Kamadan. You can get a ferry to the consular docks and then a ferry to LA or Cantha.
