reviving a guild?
first of all i would like to thank all ofthe guru mods for keeping spammers and flamers off of this site.
second of all i would like to respectfully ask for any tips on rebuilding/reviving a guild. i have read the guides on guilds and recruiting on this site already and they have gotten my guild started on the road to recovery. i would like to ask if anyone has successfully rebuilt a guild and what they did to do it. Things that we can do 1. Actively recruit people we know are respectful 2. get friends to play the game 3. ask inactive members to play more things that we cannot do 1. activelty recruit just random people of of the chat channel 2. recruit anyone who doesn't have an interest in PvE and some PvP 3. recruit anyone who isn't willing to help other members. my guild is a small guild and most of the members know each other in real life. i am co- leader so i can make those big decisions. any help would be really appreciated.... thanks in advance, Illithen Last edited by Illithen Firebringer; Mar 08, 2007 at 10:16 PM // 22:16.. |

Hi, Yes me and my 2 RL mates who played Guild wars took a 1 month break. when we came back several days ago. it was just us in the guild.. which we expected.
In 3 days we have managed to make a website. Get forums back up and running. and we now have 16 members from our timezone. We are almost ready to start GvG. I didn just recruit any1 i only got people who play around the Australian Timezone so that we Can GvG.. but we are mainly both PvP/PvE orienated. Some Advice * Get The Guild back and running and make sure u know your not just going to leave the Guild in 2 weeks. *If Recruiting Random people from Chat Channel. Ask Them some questions. Eg -If you want exp players only for your guild. Ask how long they have been playing. Whats Char's they have and what level are they. -If Recruiting for a PvP only guild Make sure they know something about PvP well thats my advice.. But hey.. what do i know ~Zelic~ |

what i would like to know is how can we see if a player is expereinced at pvp but not a god like below rank 5 (easily farmed or bought) and with some GvG experience. i mean current my guild has 5 active members is 1 week old (ish).
in the first 3 days we had 8 who seemed ok ten we GvGed and 3 were absolute flaming ranting imature people. my freinds are all in rank 100 or pve guilds so i cant get people i know so all i can do is go into HA or TA and pug or start teams with mates and grindfor members. al i wantout of the team is a daily GvG or 3 and to beale to takeadvise a learn from it. any advise? |
