most raw single target damage = warrior most armor = warrior There is no best class. If you're looking at a pure 1v1 situation Mesmers and Assassins are significantly stronger than other classes, but 1v1 is not what matters. 8v8 is what matters. And in 8v8 all classes have their own strengths and weaknesses. |

I see Frazzy is bored again.
n00b is the most powerful class, because they can do damage to hundreds of people at once. |

Even though assassin armour shortens conditions... degen owns them, not enough self healing skills and the ones that they do have are easly counterable... [Shadow Refuge] All u have to do is run from them after 2 seconds then when it wears off attack them again... then they dont get the bonus |

Armor from enchantments doesn't count. One interrupt or shatter pwns them all. I don't see that happening with Warrior armor. |

Warriors are the strongest...my diminutive female warrior can wield a huge single-handed sword and tall shield that together probably weigh more than she does.
Oh, but my tiny monk can too.....oh well. |

Warrior or ranger is probably the easiest, mesmer or assassin the hardest (PvE wise). The others fit in between. You can make a decent warrior with almost any skill bar assuming you act within your team and not on your own. An assassin or mesmer needs a good build, understanding of the game/priority of targets, and working within your team well.
Maximum in nearly everything will be an Ele - but they are conditional (you will note that the above "ele's aren't the highest" discount where the conditions are true while not discounting their own conditions). For most times, that isn't good at all, just that they *can* - while they can be the highest in nearly everything the conditions are usually hard to come by and do not last long or are easy to remove (and even the AI does so). They need to stay as an Ele, not trying to be something else. |
