You do realise that in order for people to help you out you have to actually explain what the problem is don't you? For instance, I could easily say that for pulling you should keep a longbow equipped. That in itself is helping, but is it helping in respect to your particular dilemma?

Maybe the OP needs help with asking for help...
But, yes, the http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Main_Page is a great place to start. Otherwise, start asking specific questions, my crystal ball is in the shop. |

Agreed, but i think gamewikis.org needs a tutorial to show how to use the website. I hear kids complaining all the time not knowing where certain stuff is. I mean half the battle of getting better is learing on ur own, but sometimes it gets confusing.

In regard to "help"....patience young grasshopper....patience. When you can snatch a vial of black dye in presearing for under 2k, you will have learned. Seriously though: 1) follow group leader's instructions 2) ask group leader to clarify when appropriate 3) be polite 4) look for people who are already answering questions in public chat, they are usually kinda helpful anyway 5) join a guild, preferable a large, mixed, well established one 6) encourage friends to play GW and be noobs together...allies in dorkdom will prvail where the lone dork fails 7) avoid scammers/scamming....never offer what you don't have and always double check and get second opinions on buying (until you have more experience 8) join PUGs (pick-up-groups) often and learn from the mistakes of others 9) don't smack-talk until you've earned the right to do so...you will know when you are ready (and keep it appropriate....yes, there is such thing as appropriate smack talk) 10) pick a character name that in simple and correctly spelled...other people don't like typing Grfunxle Fizzleass when Funky Fizz will do...oh, yeah....with names like Ass Chin...the better and/or mature players players might not take you seriously and help you out...they may assume you are a 13-year-old with no manners and ignore you....other 12-13 year-olds may, however, flock to you...this will only serve to make you king of the 'tards....don't be a 'tard...'tards are not good...people don't like 'em, nosir...not one bit....not even a little...yeah, yeah, you'd be a king, but it's sorta more of an honorary thing....ya see: 'tards have lots of kings, and the ones who aren't still wear crowns. No-no NOT cool crowns...more like the kind you get from Burger King, but with "Burger" crossed out with a crayon and "tard" written in its place with a backwards "D"....trust me...not a good look... |

ok seriously TwinRaven you made me choke my coffee holy crap thanks, best laugh all morning! @the op. As said before, so I say again: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Main_Page Learn the Search ... use the Search ... love the Search http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Main_Page http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Main_Page http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Main_Page This can not be overstated. Also, heed TwinRaven. Refrain from 'tardlike behavior. Learn to ask specific questions. Search bar is your friend. Also, bit of advice meant nicely...."l33t" speak in a question title? Bad sign.... |
