Survivor Question
When you're getting the Insignia for your profession in Factions, if you die when doing that, does it cancel your Survivor progress? Thanks!

Any time you die, anywhere, except for the tutorial bits in Factions and Nightfall, it will cancel your progress in the title. As soon as you you see 1 or more deaths recorded with the /deaths emote, survivor is gone.

Forced deaths, such as the Res shrine tutorial, or when an ally which must survive and dies in a mission, does not count as a death, and you will be able to continue survivor title.
Getting killed by an enemy attack in whatever situation, does count. /death , when in doubt afterwards. Don't die. |

Yes, I lost Survivor when doing the insignia quests.
Just go back there several levels later. |

There is one other place where deaths do not count- at least they didn't when I was killed there, possibly an update has changed that. In Sorrows Furnace and the Jokara Diggings (spelled it wrong I know) where the rock crusher traps fall on you, for some reason, I did not get a death recorded on my character. I was going for Survivor at the time, and it did not count.

yeah unfortunatly it counts, and to counter that plan before head, get to a higher level, do the easy insignia quests first and make sure you have the best skills available to deal with the threats of those quests that get you killed
