Does anyone know a good general build for a Sin?
Hallo! I've always had trouble keeping my Sin from dying a horrible death before anyone else does, like most people. I see a lot of specific farming builds, but I just need a general build so I can actually get some where with my Sin...Please post what your suggestions are...Thanks!

Post that in the campfire section and you'll probably get some answers.

Assuming this is PvE we're talking about, I'd suggest:
Offensive: go for cheap, fast recharge attack skills. My preferred combo is Jagged strike, Wild strike, Death blossom (recharge times 4,4,2). The combo can be repeated very quickly, and restarted easily if you miss a stage. Critical strike is also attractive. Also, Critical eye is an invaluable skill. Defensive: The elite Flashing blades is easily available in kaineng city and will let you tank even Shiro. Really. Dark escape is a nice non elite skill that lets you survive if you get into a tight spot. Heart of shadow (I think that's the nem, the skill that shadowsteps away) is also a good starter to prevent you from dieing. If you have access to Nightfall, get a hero protection monk, they make wonders for assassins. If not, take the ritualist henchmen. Shelter and union are very valuable to you. Tactics: Assassins have a bit of trouble playing with all AI teams. You'll have to send the warriors in first, and then pick on solitary targets. Remember: you are a glass cannon. You hit VERY hard (when you switch to another character, you'll see how much damage a good assassin inflicts), but you die easily, too. Also, do note that an assassin will really benefit from its max. armor. |

thats a massively broad question. You mentioned farming but is that the only build you need? I suggest asking some players in-game, over allience or guild perhaps about the different builds they use. Once you have an idea what skills etc you're going for check out guildwiki.org. If you could specify the use of it i could be of more help >< btw, got a killer A/D runner

Alright, well next time I'll post a questions like this in Campfire, like you said Tijo. I'm using a pretty similar build to yours Iuris (Fast recharge times, although I don't have any experience with anything other than those few attack skills and a couple of non-attack skills). I do have access to Nighfall and will set up Dunky/Tahlkora to Prot/Healing, respectively. As Asp, I realized I should have made this a little more specific after I'd posted it, I also probably worded it the wrong way. I'm not trying to farm so much, just being able to play a mission without ending up with a massive D/P (Death Penalty). A few other questions...Is there a secondary class that can work well with a Sin? (Again, I mean in general, not specific to farming/soloing/ect.) And are Superior runes (-75Hp) worth the massive health drop?...Thanks again! ^.^ (If it's unclear if I need help with PvP or PvE, it's PvE...Sorry, just forgot to add that )
