Sigils? - Guild Wars Forums

Does anyone know why sigil prices have gone up? I haven't been checking very regularly, prices seemed to be around 9k in January, then went up to 18 or so in late Feb, and now are up to almost 30k. Is it just more people buying them or have drop rates been adjusted or what?

A few reasons. They drop less often, due to the increased timer in halls [8 minute matches as opposed to the 4 they had]. They drop less often from the chest as well, with all the new items they added to it [Stygian Reavers, runic blades, mini ghostly, etc]. There are also probably people stockpiling them for when they get up to 50k+ or whatever.

Ah ok, yea, I haven't been keeping up with updates, been sort of inactive and was surprised by the jump.
