The Ethereal Guard Alliance has a new opening for a Luxon guild. All of our guilds to at least some of both PvE and PvP, though we have a balanced mixture of guilds that specialize in one or the other.

The flagship guild, The Ethereal Guard was created on pre-release day and has grown to as many as 95 members. Currently we are hovering around 80 and happy there. We are primarily PvE, though we are working to rebuild our GvG team. Relaxed, fun, and mature are all good terms to describe us. Most of us have children and jobs and a real life that takes precedence over our gaming.

Other members of the alliance are:

Phoenix Ascension - Balanced mix of PvE and PvP activity.
BeguineGuild - A PvE centered guild of about 50 members.
Nice But Deadly - a GvG focused guild.
Heros Etc - PvE centered guild that loves to PvP frequently.
Perfectly Normal Beasts - Hardcore GvG team
Hintarlant Altrui - A growing PvE guild looking to build a GvG team.
Legions of Valhalla - Lots of PvP goes on in this active PvE guild.
Up In Smoke - PvE centered and smaller, they still field a GvG team on a regular basis.

What we have in common is a distaste for mindless faction farming, and a strong sense of community. We are here to have fun together, and beyond that it's just gaming. All of the member guilds have people that GvG, or AvA or run Aspenwood. As an alliance we have members in Tyria and Cantha at all times of the day and night though our heaviest concentration is in the central United States.

What we are looking for is a guild of moderate size, 30+ members, that are PvE focused, or else a PvP focused guild that is not so wrapped up in itself that it cannot guest into other guilds or invite an occasional friend to come play with them. It would not hurt my feelings any to have a member guild make a run at the Championships next season, so long as they don't shun the entire community along the way.

We Plunder You Now [Yarr] is looking for more guilds to round off our alliance. Yarr's focus is on GVG, though a few members (such as myself) hit up Heroes' Ascent. Almost all of our core players for PVP are rank 3-5, which is surprising considering most members don't frequent the area.
We're looking for guilds with a focus on PVP, filling in each others gaps. If your guild is similar to ours, and Luxon Alligned, we'd love to have you.
Our alliance also has around 700k faction and we hope we can find a guild that will hit up alliance battles when the members have free time to add to the alliance.

A bit of background: KCHS is the Penny-Arcade based guild, that back in the day invented spirit spam. You can read about us in our Guild of the Week article. Currently we usually don't have quite enough people to GvG, but we're hoping to join an alliance or recruit more guilds that could help fill in the gaps, or give us opportunities to play for other guilds. We still do some PvE; we always have members coming in from the Penny-Arcade forums, and I think a few dyed-in-the-wool farmers.

IDS has also been around since the release of Prophecies and is currently an active GvGing guild whose rank is staying around 50. They draw a mean ASCII sword.

Mostly we're looking for a mature alliance/guilds with a few PVP veterans that know how to party... and spell out the word "you".

A little about us:

We split from our old clan due to lack of interest and not being able to do what we wanted with our guild. We all have been playing since the get go. Right now we have about 15 members, and are always looking for more. We want mature and active players only. Nobody that plays for 1 hour a week, since most of us play nightly.

What we are looking for:

Guilds that are into farming, Pve, doing quests, helpful, working on titles, and just plain on having fun with the game. We do Pvp, and GvG occasionally but are not obsessed with it. We also do faction farm, even though it isnt a requirement, I personally have been putting in 5000 nightly or every other day, and others are starting to do the same.

Faction: Kurzick, non-farming Contact: IGN Random Engy, xfire: randomengy Size: KCHS: 80+, 5-10 usually on at any given time, IDS: Not sure? They GvG plenty though. Looking for: PvP focused alliance or guilds A bit of background: KCHS is the Penny-Arcade based guild, that back in the day invented spirit spam. You can read about us in our Guild of the Week article. Currently we usually don't have quite enough people to GvG, but we're hoping to join an alliance or recruit more guilds that could help fill in the gaps, or give us opportunities to play for other guilds. We still do some PvE; we always have members coming in from the Penny-Arcade forums, and I think a few dyed-in-the-wool farmers. IDS has also been around since the release of Prophecies and is currently an active GvGing guild whose rank is staying around 50. They draw a mean ASCII sword. Mostly we're looking for a mature alliance/guilds with a few PVP veterans that know how to party... and spell out the word "you".

We all have been playing since the get go. Right now we have about 15 members, and are always looking for more. We want mature and active players only. Nobody that plays for 1 hour a week, since most of us play nightly. What we are looking for: Guilds that are into farming, Pve, doing quests, helpful, working on titles, and just plain on having fun with the game. We do Pvp, and GvG occasionally but are not obsessed with it. We also do faction farm, even though it isnt a requirement, I personally have been putting in 5000 nightly or every other day, and others are starting to do the same. At the moment, working heavily on improving HA standing. Around 11 active members and recruiting a few more for a core team. Looking for: An alliance with enough PVPers to be able to draw players from to do HA or guest GVG. We don't mind if the alliance is comprised of PVE guilds as long as there is a strong PVP presence.
