Are heros effective in HA?
For the past month or so iv'e been trying to get a decent team in HA but there all noobs espeacially the monks. Ive asked my guild but no-one answers (in fact i might leave) so i was wondering if heros were effective in HA and if so what builds are useful. I appreciate any advice, so tnx for any help.

Heroes are better than the average unranked player. In the hands of a skilled commander, heroes can be decent in any type of pvp (there are some pretty high ranked heroway gvg guilds). At the same time, the only way to really get anywhere in HA is to join a pvp based guild. The only way to join a pvp based guild is to pvp a lot, and build up a friends list. It really can't be said enough. The more you pug, the more good players you'll come across and friend list. If you pug HA every day with no guild tag, I'd give you 2 weeks max before you get a guild invite (and that's if you suck, no offense).
Also, expect everyone to be pricks to you if you complain about rank discrimination. We were in your shoes once too. Edit: Also, just because a guild is 'pvp based' doesn't mean it doesn't pve. It just means the guild pvp's during primetime. Most pvp guilds still pve plenty, so you won't miss out. Last edited by SilentVex; Apr 23, 2007 at 01:13 PM // 13:13.. |
