I've been trying to get Gaile Grey to answer this for a while, and she eventually shot me down. So I'll try here.

Which are the oldest surviving guilds in the game?

I'll throw in our guild. Psycho Titans [PT]. We've been active and playing since 10th of May 2005.

The Wizardry Players Guild [WPG] was formed in the game by Ashlock Hammerhand on May 22, 2005.

Third Way [TW] was formed the day the game came out, though there were a number of guilds already around, and i think guilds formed in the beta were allowed to stay, not sure

Forever Knights have been around since 2000 AD and have been actively playing and enjoying Guild Wars since its first day of release.

Guilded Rose [Rose] was formed mid-May 2005, and I joined it June 1st 2005 and was promoted to leader when the former leader took ill.

The Green Guild [tree] goes back to Beta of Feb. 19,2005 I joined in Feb 20 ,2005 now Leader.

The Boston Guild [BG] was founded June 13th, 2005. I joined December 13th, 2005. Took over as leader April 28th, 2006.

The Charter Vanguard was set up sometime around May 19 2004, almost a year before the actual launch of GW. Our current leader stepped in mid-2005.

Zero Mercy was founded September 7, 2005.

There were members of clan ZM in the game much earlier, but there were not enough to found the guild according to clan guidelines until that time.
Our leader is Owner of Zm, with me as it's acting second.

My Guild was formed on the 8th of May 2005, I joined around May 16th and I took over as Guild Leader in about August 2005. Many of the original members are still in the Guild and we've been capping our size to 94 for nearly a year now.

It's great to look back where you have been, but ever better to look forward

Our guild is called The Package, and it's known as The Pack in Guild Wars. We are a gaming order that has been together since 1999.

We are presently active in Myth 2 (where our group began), Call of Duty, Guild Wars and Company of Heroes.

We have been a guild in GW since, I believe, May 22, 2005.
