Can you open Xfire in Guild Wars?
I was wondering if you can open xfire in guild wars. I know for all the other games its scroll lock x but that has a different functio nin GW. So is there any way to do it or do I have to clsoe gw everytime I want to talk to someone.

Depends on the build and which computer I'm on. Sometimes it works with Scroll Lock X, other times I have to minimize. No idea why it does that though.

I've had the same problem with my xfire, but i know the way how to change it.
Close your xfire completely. Go to your xfire directory and open de file 'xfire_games.ini'. Search for 'Guild Wars' (ctrl + F). Now you need to change the line 'InGameRenderer=D3D9' into 'InGameRenderer=D3D8'. Start op xfire again and u can use it ingame Oh there is one con tho, every time xfire has an update, u need to change the line again. Well this was my first little tribute to gwguru |
