Stacking Questions
The last time I had played my Warrior before I quit, I remember the "Physical Damage Recived -3" buff on Knights armor was nerfed and no longer stacked. That was the main reason I ditched all but my Knights Boots and picked up Platemail. Now they have all these helpfull (Stacking) and (Non-Stacking) tooltips on buffs...how nice... But it still doesn't say if the -3 reduced physical damage stacks or not... Can anybody confirm if it still does?
Arg, I had two stacking questions but I forgot the other one... Oh well... |

absorption runes do not stack with each other (you only need one) armor effects are local to the piece. Insignia that replicate armor effects (such as damage reduction) are again local to the piece.

Absorption runes went from local to global(both Non stacking), Armour damage reduction went from global to local (both non stacking)
If you have -3 Damage received on a piece of armor it was a Global effect but it did not stack, this meant u only needed 1 piece of the armour to gain the effect (which is why Anet changed it) Now each piece counts only for when that piece is hit. so the Answer to your question no it doesnt stack, but if u want the -3 all the time u need it on all pieces of your armour |

If you ahve a full set of Knights armor and a superior absorption rune, you will get 6 damage reduction whenever your are hit. Any armor prefix or inherent armor bonus is unique to that piece. if you have knights chest and glads leggings, you will take 3 less damage if hit in the chest, and no dmg reduction if hit in the leggings.
