Oh, he's just exagerating. But anyway, his point is that there are better skill combos out there. Its still kinda a fun thing to play around with though.

However, at least for PvE, Mark of Rodgort and Searing flames/Glowing Gaze combo does quite nice - especially if you have a barrage ranger or Dervish hit clumped up enemies with a fire weapon (though SF is usually enough for the permaburn). The permaburn isn't for the damage but so that every single Searing Flames hits for damage instead of wasting every third one or so. Plus the hench/hero seem to understand how to do this quite well and takes little to no micromanagement.
I do agree that Conjure Flame doesn't have any particular use with a Mark of Rodgort, but there are other skills and team builds out there |
