The face hugger is ok, but the Grasp mask was nicer.

Well, I must say I wasn't happy about the mask - but for the opposite reason:
It's a good piece of art that could have worked as a nice helmet for any armour! Imagine a full armour of that style, I think it would be among the best... |

I'm not impressed with the mask (I haven't had the desire to even place it on my character's head - the icon looks... undesirable).
I have only 3 masks - I've not been on-line when the others were around (Christmas, halloween, etc.) Anyway, out of the ones I've seen, I like the 2005 Halloween jack o'lantern mask. I wasn't impressed with Santa's red hat, nor Greneth's Antlers. My Ranger looks like something he would use for target practice. Anyway, Jrdnbrkfld, you are not alone about not liking the hat. I spent about 15 minutes getting most of those silly things and I spent a few plats to get the rest - now I have extra tickets and presents that will stay in my stash unopenned. |

What bugs me is that during the entire event you could be in any district of SJM and see people complain about how ugly the mask was...as they stick around to get one.

What bugs me is in 2 of the dist I went to at the very beginning of this event there were peeps
"Trying" to sell the mask for 5k - 8k each to people that came in late. When most peeps knew there customized and couldn't be sold traded ect lol reminded me of the "mini pigs" all over again. What one I like the most? maybe a separate thread should be started but I liked the "Santa hat" we got at wintersday. |

The thing is, they released a screenshot of what the mask looked like before the finale happened. You had advance notice that if you didn't like the mask, you did not need to get it.

I agree with the author of this tread. The mask plain flat out sucks! I was hoping it would be a dragon mask such as last years mask, instead of the most ugly piece of tripe I ever seen. Should of at least had horns on it, but ah well. I enjoyed questing for the tokens, and enjoyed even more puting the mask in the trash.

I like the mask, First festival I've been in and it was fun. The mask goes well with most necro armor and some warrior armors as well. And its fun to wear it in towns and have people ask where you got it from (the ones who missed out)
Getting the tokens for the mask is no problem as well, over 4 characters, I did the 4 quests with each of them, leaving 960 tokens, then some Dragon arena wins and I had 1000 tokens, I kept 250 and sold the rest for 70k ((over priced, yes, but the temptation was to great seeing so many people wanting to buy tokens when the emperor visited that i was selling them off for 100g each. |

You need to appreciate things that are freely given and not nitpick! I for one totally enjoyed festival although i still did not hit 1 million on lucky yet. |
